Marketing Operations & Reporting Specialist – Full-Time

We are seeking a full-time Marketing Operations & Reporting Specialist to support core client services provided by McCool Digital. This role will be responsible for executing and optimizing digital fundraising campaigns, managing ad operations, handling CRM-based email and SMS communications, and providing performance insights through reporting and analysis.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position with significant room for rapid growth.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ad Operations & Performance Monitoring (30%)

  • Set up, monitor, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, and other relevant networks.

  • Implement A/B testing strategies for ad performance improvement.

  • Track budget pacing and recommend adjustments based on performance metrics.

  • Ensure proper tracking and attribution using UTM parameters, Google Tag Manager, and CRM-integrated analytics.

Email & SMS Campaign Execution (40%)

  • Load, schedule, and send fundraising emails and SMS messages through client CRMs such as Action Network, NGP/VAN, BSD, or similar platforms.

  • Work with the content team to ensure messaging, formatting, and creative assets are properly implemented in all outbound communications.

  • Monitor email deliverability and performance metrics, adjusting strategy as needed to improve open and conversion rates.

  • Assist with segmentation, automation, and testing strategies to enhance digital fundraising efforts.

Analytics & Reporting (30%)

  • Generate reports on the performance of ad campaigns, email/SMS engagement, and fundraising efforts.

  • Provide actionable insights to the team based on campaign data to improve effectiveness.

  • Maintain and refine dashboards that track KPIs across multiple digital marketing channels.

  • Support list growth strategies, including acquisition advertising, data hygiene, and retention initiatives.

Location and Travel:
This is a remote position.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a starting salary between $55,000 and $65,000. McCool Digital will provide a cash stipend for health care, two weeks paid vacation, 7 days of sick leave, a matching 401k employee savings plan, and participation in the company’s profit-sharing program.
